APH: Miserable France wishes

There once was a time when the world was one
When all creatures were free
And lived as they pleased
There once was a time life was bright like the sun
And life was fun
And everything was a game
There was a time
And know it’s no more

I wish my wishes and time pass by
Wish for genuine love
And everything at peace
I wish happiness would come
I wish God would show mercy
Back when I was a young and an unafraid fool
When wishes came true and power increased
The times victories were mine
The times I was mighty

But the soldiers marsh at night
Gunshots soars a lullaby
As many lives tear apart
As all turns to a solid bloodshed

She was a blessing send from God
She gave me new hope for love and peace
She took my heart to her scarlet grave
And she was gone before summer came

Still I wish she`ll come back to me
And we will live together forever
But there are wishes that never come true
And there are wars I must lose

I wished I never had to
Live this hellish immortal life
Changes come as centuries pass by
While my people pass away, I live
